Reconstructive
Reconstructive surgery helps restore both form and function. We strive to create as "normal" an appearance as possible.
It is performed to repair facial injuries after trauma, correct congenital defects, revise scars, or reconstruct defects following excision of skin cancer. Not only does Dr. Chadwell reconstruct defects resulting from skin cancer, but he also manages their removal and thus provides comprehensive skin cancer therapy.

Ears
Many children with protruding ears are the victims of cruel nicknames such as "Dumbo" or "Mickey Mouse." Most often children and adults are candidates for corrective ear surgery, or otoplasty.
Otoplasty

With children, the surgery can be performed at any age after the ears have reached full size, usually around the ages of five to six. Conventional wisdom is the earlier the better, once the cartilages are ready.
Adults often choose this corrective surgery in conjunction with other facial plastic procedures as well. Adult ears can be reshaped and made symmetrical. Earlobes can be reduced in size or repaired after being torn or distorted by earrings.

Skin
People often want moles, cysts or other lesions removed from their faces without leaving obvious scars or unsightly defects. These results can be achieved using refined plastic surgery techniques, and these procedures can usually be performed right here in our offices.
